$spyed's recent purchase of a new camera reignited my fascination with photography, so I got a Canon Digital Rebel XSi digital SLR on Thursday. In 2 days I've taken 650 pictures (2.5 GB at 12 megapixels, not counting any of the RAWs... ouch). I am so addicted to this thing, I've already started ordering more lenses and looking into filters, and I'm sure I'm annoying the crap out of everyone in the office. Look forward to my obsession with various things (currently depth of field), but I'm having fun so whatever.

I also got a Kindle a few months ago and it has gotten me reading again. Life of Pi really was great, and I've been reading the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series again, so good.

Tonight I walked down Hollywood Blvd taking some photos with $spyed and $makepictures (who was the only one not taking photos, ironically), but he got the best photo of the night. Then watched Community with $margotdent, $Heidi and $mhalpert, really funny, one of the best new shows of the season so far.

Also, I like turtles.

Update: Sold the XSi to $trowlandson two weeks ago and picked up a T1i. I need help.
