The second night on my vacation houseboating on Lake Shuswap in BC, we had a small lightning storm. It only rained for a little bit, and fortunately it was the only day it rained.
I took this picture with a Canon Powershot S200 by sitting on the top of the houseboat. Shutter speed was set to 1 full second which is what caused the blurriness (the houseboat was rocking because of the waves). I got it by putting the camera into continuous shooting mode and holding down the shutter until I saw lightning. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
